La opinión de los demás es menos importante que mi Sistema de Guía Personal ..... 
No intentabas utilizar las opinion de tus padres para medirla contra tus creencias, deseos o acciones con el fin de determinar la idoneidad de los mismos. 
En su lugar, sabías (y aún lo recordabas, mucho después de que naciste) que era la relación entre la opinión (o conocimiento) de la Fuente dentro de ti y tus pensamientos actuales, en todo momento, lo que habría de ofrecerte una guía perfecta en forma de emociones. 
No tenías la intención de sustituir a tu Sistema de Guía Emocional con las opiniones de tus padres, incluso si estaban en armonía con su Sistema de Guía Emocional en el momento de su intento de guiarte. 
Era mucho más importante para ti reconocer la existencia de tu propio Sistema de Guía, y utilizarlo, antes de lo que se considera correcto, o de encontrar aprobación de los demás.

Other's Opinion Are Less Important Than My Personal Guidance System ..... 
You did not intend to use the opinions of your parents to measure against your beliefs, desires, or actions in order to determine the appropriateness of them. 
Instead, you knew (and still remembered, long after you were born) that it was the relationship between the opinion (or knowledge) of the Source within you and your current thoughts, in any moment, that would offer you perfect guidance in the form of emotions. 
You did not intend to replace your Emotional Guidance System with the opinions of your parents even if they were in harmony with their Emotional Guidance System in the moment of their trying to guide you. 
It was much more important to you to recognize the existence of your own Guidance System, and to utilize it, than to be deemed correct by, or to find approval from, others.
